A Shared Use Path and Lighting is designed to complete the walking accessibility along Main Street to the east edge of the city limits. The project will beginning at 5th Ave East and end at 36th Ave NW (the new Community Center) with a total length of project of 1800 feet. This walking path and lighting will provide safety and accessibility to the businesses in the area.
The Shared Use Path & Lighting Project was approved by the Mohall City Council at the regular meeting on June 11, 2018. The NDDOT awarded a grant to the City of Mohall for $371,232.00 with the city share being $41,248.00 for a total project cost of $412,480.00. This grant being part of the North Dakota Small Town Revitalization Endeavor for Enhancing Transportation (NDSTREET) grant program. Project was completed in 2021.
